Men of Armor is a non-profit Christian organization that serves the local church and community to reach, connect, and strengthen men to lead their families for Christ.
JIMMY STOPPER
Founder & President
In 2010, Jimmy and his family stepped out in faith to begin the ministry of Men of Armor. His previous ministry experience includes being a staff member with Young Life in Philadelphia, PA and the youth pastor at Triangle Community Church in Apex, NC. Jimmy and his wife, Tiffany, have been married since 1999 and have four children – one daughter and three sons. He has strong desire to lead his wife and family spiritually and to help other men do the same. He also has a passion for helping churches minister to their men and the men in their community. Jimmy is an ordained minister and an active member of Triangle Community Church. He is a certified biblical counselor through through Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), requirements of which included writing 52 research papers and being supervised through 50 counseling sessions. He enjoys fishing, coaching and playing sports, and cheering on the Carolina Panthers.
CHAD POPROCKI
Director of Operations
In November of 1999, Chad confessed his sins and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord & Savior! Chad believes God called him into full-time ministry in 2010. Prior to joining Men of Armor in November of 2014, his previous ministry experience includes youth ministry, student ministry, family ministry, men’s ministry, sports ministry, and evangelism. Chad and Tanya have been married since 2003 and have two children, Ava and Isaac. Chad has a strong desire to lead his wife and family spiritually and to help other men do the same. Chad is an ordained pastor and an Elder of The Summit Church. Chad is a certified biblical counselor through through Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), requirements of which included writing 52 research papers and being supervised through 50 counseling sessions. Chad’s wife, Tanya, is also a certified biblical counselor through ACBC. He is also ~20 credit hours away from obtaining a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling. In addition to spending time with Tanya and the kids, he enjoys playing board games and any sport with his family, traveling, and coaching his children’s sports teams.
